Meet the
Local by
Evan Russell is a licensed Massachusetts real estate broker and property manager based in Tewksbury. His work centers on a single strip of map: the communities north of Boston where he lives, works and manages rental properties, specifically Tewksbury, Andover, Wilmington, Billerica and North Reading.
For owners, Evan handles the day to day of leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination and reporting. For tenants, he is the person who answers the phone, knows the building and shows up when something needs fixing. The model is deliberately small: one manager attached to each property, not a rotating call center.
Because Evan lives in this market, the advice he gives is neighborhood level: which route dodges the worst rush hour traffic, which side of town has the school pickup line, which commuter rail stop is worth the extra drive. That local knowledge is the service, and it is why renters and owners stay with the same manager for years.
How Evan
One manager, one call
Every property in the portfolio has a name attached: Evan's. Tenants and owners never wonder who to call, because there is only one answer.
Reports in plain English
Owner statements land monthly with income, expenses and a short note on anything worth knowing. No spreadsheets as a second language.
Local vendors, local prices
Maintenance goes to businesses within the portfolio area that know New England buildings, heating systems and snow seasons.
Leases built to last
The goal is stable, long-term tenancy: careful screening up front, honest communication during the lease, and renewals worth signing.
